Volunteer Terms

In order for swim meets to occur, I understand it is mandatory that parents/guardians commit to volunteering in at least one local Regional swim meet throughout the season, that is; even if their swimmers are not planning to participate.

I acknowledge that the Terrace Blueback Swim Club requires nothing less than 35 volunteers to run a swim meet. Training is available for Official positions, and it is my responsibility to reach out and request training for my preferred role.

I understand that beyond swim meets, other volunteer roles are needed to keep our club non-profit. These roles include, but are not limited to, volunteering on the board of directors, volunteering on sub-committees (ie fundraising, clothing, etc.), billeting for out of town swimmers, event organizers, etc.
